The LD25 is equipped with a neutral white LED bulb that features high penetrating power and ample color penetration. The resulting color temperature of roughly 4,000 K makes objects look full of detail and definition, making your excursions livelier and more interesting. This low color temperature also combines with the low wavelength to penetrate dust, rainwater, and other airborne elements far better than a cool white LED bulb. Plus, it throws the beam farther than most other compact flashlights.

The LD25 offers three modes, each with two types of output. The default mode is designed for standard applications, such as hiking, spelunking, or general exploring. The light's camping mode, by contrast, is more appropriate for illuminating a tent or picnic table. And should you run into trouble along the way, the LD25 boasts an SOS rescue mode.

The flashlight is also well built, with a durable aircraft-grade aluminum body coated with a premium Type III hard-anodized, anti-abrasive finish. The construction--which also includes a toughened ultra-clear glass lens with an anti-reflective coating--helps the light hold up to all kinds of abuse. Other features include an anti-slip, anti-freezing plastic grip; a tactical pushbutton tail cap switch; and a digitally regulated output that maintains constant brightness until the battery fails.
